The brother of a NSW police officer was shot dead in Castle Hill yesterday. According to a witness at the scene, police demanded the driver of a vehicle get out and
15 seconds later he was shot dead by Police. Police claim they were responding to a report that the man was threatening people with a gun.
The shooting happened
Late today, Police
identified the man as Rodney Elkass, brother of a police officer.
It is the second NSW police shooting in a week, with a
19 year-old being shot by Police in his own home on Monday.
