Dear Members of the Carenne School Community, My name is Carole McDiarmid and I hold the position of NSW DET Western NSW Region director which Carenne School is a part of. There have been many allegations made concerning Carenne School including on this website which has seriously damaged Carenne School’s reputation as well as damaging the reputation of people associated with Carenne School such as teachers, employees of Carenne School, students and parents in the eyes of the community.
Unfortunately this blog website has lead to the death of Terry Neal this weekend who committed suicide after the continued harassment he faced from this blog website. The Department extends its condolences to the family of Terry Neal in this difficult time of grief.
The Department will be supporting his family during this difficult time. He was a much loved employee of Careene who dedicated his life to the education of students with disabilities.
He did not deserve being harassed to the point where he felt his only available option was to take his own life. His Colleagues and the Department appeal for his death not to be in vain and call upon the end of this blog website to prevent a further tragedy.
Police are investigating the harassment which lead to Mr Neal’s death and the Department is cooperating fully with police and coroner’s office inquires. The Department is committed to getting justice for Mr Neal’s death.
Details of funeral arrangements will be released at a later time. I note that the Department will be allocating additional resources for school counseling for students and arrangements have been made for support from the Employee Assistance Program. Staff who need leave as result of this incident will be provided with special leave on full pay which will not effect there sick leave entailments.
The Department is also working with other community partners such as Western NSW Local Health District to provide support during this difficult time. I note that Carenne School may not be immediately reopening after the school holidays. The Department will make a decision closer to the 10th of October and alternative arrangements for minimum staffing will be put in place for students whom for various reasons are unable to stay at home.

The emails are real. Peter Harvey himself confirmed it.
If the AFP is investigating perhaps they will look into the child grooming allegations against Jwzza
